Pike finishes perfect Tip-Off run

ROCKFORD - Indianapolis Pike rolled up a 45-7 halftime lead and swamped Providence St. Mel 65-23 in Wednesday's second game at Jefferson High School.

Pike finished its tournament run with a 3-0 record and headed back home for the holiday. St. Mel was making its first Tip-Off Classic appearance.

John Louden scored 11 points and Devion Bailey 10 to lead the Red Devils. She'Rod Dent scored seven to pace the Knights.
