Pike impresses against Madison West

ROCKFORD - The Pike Red Devils of Indianapolis blitzed Madison West from the opening tip, racing to a 61-41 win.

Pike outscored the Regents 19-6 in the first quarter and led 32-16 at halftime. Madison West's comeback efforts in the second half were hampered at the free throw line. The Regents hit just four of 17 foul shots.

Senior forward Isiah James led the Red Devils with 15 points, Justin Williams added 14 and Darian Porch scored 12. Madison West's Terrell Carey had 17 points, which could have been a lot more. Carey missed all nine of his free throws. Simeon Parker added 10.
