Auburn slows down McArthur

Auburn held the Mustangs to three points in the second quarter en route to a 26-12 halftime lead and rolled to a 59-45 victory in the Knights' season opener.

It was McArthur's first tournament loss after victories over Jefferson and Elgin Larkin. McArthur returns to Hollywood, Florida after Wednesday night's game with Guilford.

Terry Ford scored 19 points to lead Auburn, which also got 13 points from Justin Robinson. Noah Brown led McArthur with 14 points. Ralph Bissainthe had 10.
