Bay View downs Belvidere with big second half

ROCKFORD - Milwaukee Bay View blew open a competitive game in the third quarter on the way to a 59-36 win over Belvidere in the first of two games at Guilford High School.

The Red Cats led 24-16 at halftime over the Bucs then outscored Belvidere 20-9 in the third quarter. Kevin Cook led Bay View with 19 points and Isiaih Wright and Antwon Allen had 10 each.

Phil Colk was the only Belvidere player in double-figures with 11 points.
