Larkin too much for Bogan

ROCKFORD - Elgin Larkin improved to 3-0 in the 205 Tip-Off Classic by never trailing in an 84-60 dismantling of Chicago Bogan.

The Royals scored the first five points of the game at Jefferson High School and won every quarter. Damari Wheeler-Thomas again was impressive. The future North Dakota State guard scored 23 points - he has 79 points in three games - but he had plenty of help. Fernando Perez Jr. added 19 points, sophomore Jakob Blakley had 18 and Dontrell Maxie had 17.

Junior guard Dontrell Dixon did what he could for the Bengals, scoring 20 points. Bogan lost for the first time in two trips to the 205 Tip-Off Classic.
