A night after an impressive win over North Chicago, the Knights couldn't find any help for sophomore guard Josh Ausler. Ausler hit six 3-pointers on his way to a game-high 25 points. Tyshawn Whitt added 10, but no other Knight scored more than six.
Jakob Alamudum scored 21 points for the Vikings, who are playing in the Tip-Off Classic for the first time. The Vikings led 49-48 when Alamudum hit seven straight free throws in the final minute to pull away.
