Harlem falls to Perspectives in overtime

Perspectives outscored Harlem 12-7 in overtime for a 63-58 victory in Friday's fourth game.

An uncontested layup by Harlem's Bo Beehler on an assist from Boris Jancic tied the game at 51 with 20 seconds to play in regulation. But Perspectives scored the first five points in the extra period and the Harlem got no closer than three points thereafter, even though the winners missed six of seven freee throw attempts in the final 41 seconds.

Harlem scored 11 three-pointers to three for Perspectives, but the Huskies dropped to 0-2 for the season and the tournament. Perspectives is 1-1.

Jason Asante led Perspectives with 19 points. Dane Dailing led Harlem, also with 19 points.
