Bogan tips East on last second shot

Tarell Harding's short jump shot with three seconds to play lifted Bogan to a 61-60 over East Friday after the E-Rabs missed a multitude of first-half layups  (at least six) and failed to convert two free throws with 22 seconds to play.

It was Harding's second basket in the final 30 seconds, paired with a shot which brought the Bengals within 60-59 after East had built a 60-57 lead.

While East was struggling with its first-half shots, Bogan used a 10-0 run to build a 25-10 lead. East managed to get within 31-21 at halftime and finally caught the Bengals at 41 late in the third quarter.

From there, the lead seesawed although Bogan pulled ahead 57-52 before three straight Bengal turnovers helped East build its last lead.

Harding led Bogan with 20 points Dauntrell Dixon and Jamell McLauren chipped in 12 apiece for the Bengals andDamari Robinson had 10.

East's Antonio Lewis led all scorers with 24 points but no other E-Rab reached double figures.

East dropped to 2-2 on the season, while Bogan is now 1-1.
