Pike races away from Auburn

ROCKFORD - Pike broke open a tight game with a 44-13 advantage in the second half and scored its second victory in three tournament games Wednesday morning at Auburn.

The Indianapolis school -- concluding its tournament appearance -- led 30-27 at halftime but blitzed the Knights 20-1 at the start of the third quarter to launch the rout.

 Jasen Graves led Pike with 16 points. Ahmoni Jones added 14 for the winners. Haniefe Johnson and Tyshawn Whitt had nine points each to lead Auburn.
