Guilford pulls away from Perspectives

ROCKFORD - The Guilford Vikings improved to 2-1 in the 205 Tip-Off Classic by shutting down Chicago Perspectives in the fourth quarter for a 60-45 win.

Jamil Jones scored 17 points to
lead Guilford to a 60-45
win over Perspectives.
Guilford led 40-38 after three quarters and then went on a 9-1 run to start the fourth. Jamil Jones led the Vikings with 17 points and Jack Holmstrom added 12. Three other Vikings scored eight or nine points.

Perspectives was making its season debut. Caleb Miller led the Wolves with 12 points.
