We are excited to bring back this competitive, opening-week experience for players, coaches and fans. Now in our third year, we are happy to say we have seen growth every year and continue to reach our goal of hosting a first-class national tournament. This year will feature 25 games played by 15 teams from four different states.
This elite competition is the result of collaboration with the business community, the Rockford Area Convention and Visitors Bureau, the Rockford Sports Coalition, Associated Bank, and many other partnerships. We’d like to thank all of our sponsors, as well as the athletic directors, staff and booster clubs from all four of our hosting high schools.
We welcome the teams that are new to our event this year – Milwaukee Bay View, Madison West, and McArthur High School from Hollywood, Fla. Returning for either their second or third time are Belvidere, Auburn, East, Freeport, Proviso West, Indianapolis Pike, Elgin Larkin, Chicago Hyde Park, Guilford, Janesville Parker and Madison La Follette. Thank you to everyone who has made this event an overwhelming success, and we look forward to seeing you at this year’s games!
